Happy Holidays from Cage-Free Cannabis!

As the year draws to a close, I'm excited to update you on the year in review for Cage-Free Cannabis.

We've launched some new products - stickers, bags, and socks - and our signature bamboo tubes were just featured in PR0HBTD's Holiday Gift Guide.

With our first profits, we've also launched our Cage-Free Repair donation program, which I wrote about on our blog. We've also assembled a remarkable, and still growing, Advisory Board.

Another recent blog post explains our mission in the context of the regulations recently adopted by the City of Los Angeles, which will become the largest recreational cannabis market in the world on January 1.

Remember, this entire Cage-Free project stems from the idea that benefits of the cannabis industry belong to the communities of color that have disproportionately suffered the harms of cannabis prohibition. But that isn't what is happening.

So what can be done? We can participate in this repair together. Cage-Free will continue to redirect profits from this industry back into communities that need them. We'll continue to amplify the voices of The Hood Incubator, Supernova Women, and the Cannabis Cultural Association. And in 2018, look out for expungement clinics, job fairs, and educational workshops, as well as new products, partnerships, and advocacy for a fair and just cannabis industry.

I've included more information below, and if you have any questions or suggestions, please reach out anytime:

You can find us on Facebook @cagefreerepair and Instagram @cagefreecannabis, and we hope you'll introduce us to your networks!

And if you want to make a tax-deductible donation to help fund our work of repair, you can do so online or by mailing a check made out to "Social Good Fund" (and this is crucial: put "Cage-Free Repair" in the Memo line) to:

Social Good Fund
PO Box 5473

Thank you all so much for your support and enthusiasm for this work! We're looking forward to a year of action, impact, and justice.

Happy Holidays,
Adam, Andrew, and the entire Cage-Free Cannabis family
